Hello, my name is Chloe.

If you’re new, welcome to my blog! If you’ve been here before, well…you’ve probably already noticed that I’ve pretty much changed a few things, including deleting my old posts from when I started this blog last year.

I wanted to start over (I know, again, but to be fair I warned you all about the possibility of me doing this), so here’s me starting over.

Either way it’s a win-win for me. I love writing so the more practice the better 🙂

Anyway, back to the point. I thought I’d make the “first” post about my goals as a writer (err, blogger?).

Personally, I love recording my life stories because I love the nostalgic feeling reading back on it years later. I used to blog daily on Tumblr about 7 years ago and yes, rereading them still makes me cringe, but smile, at my younger self.

I’m 21 now and I know by the time I’m 28 or so I’d probably feel the same way as I do now rereading the posts written by my 14 years old self.

Aside my personal interests, I want to write for others. As cliché as it sounds I want to inspire or bring positivity in some way or form through my writing. Surprisingly, a lot of people mention to me that they actually read the long captions on my Instagram posts. Little do they know how happy hearing that makes me because I actually put effort into my writing on Instagram!

I just have to put in more effort to keeping up with my writing. Perhaps dedicating my 15 minute commute to and from work to writing? Something along those lines.

Oh, and I need to work on writing shorter posts too. I find that writing on a laptop entails essay-length posts which I know no one has time to read. I find using my phone to write helps because I have an idea of how my posts will look like on a phone (which is what most people use when visiting my blog I bet!).

Wish me luck! I do hope you come back and read what I have in store for you. I’m excited to see where I’ll take myself (and hopefully you!) in this life journey of mine.

See you soon!
